He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edward Foster and Francis Elizabeth Knight Foster; and his wife Ann B. Foster. He is survived by: his son Jay; his daughter-in-law Elyse Foster of Madison; his grandsons, Ethan and John Henry Foster; and his siblings, Faye Hoover (Ed) of Tallahassee, Fla., Paul Foster (Jane) of Montgomery and James Ray "Butch" Foster of Birmingham.
