It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobbie Jean Kennedy of Ashland, Alabama, born in Clay, Alabama, who passed away on December 28, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William "Pete" Kennedy; her son Franky Kennedy; and her parents, Smith Wilcox and Elizabeth Wilcox. She is survived by: her children, Jodie Renee Kennedy of Ashland, AL, Brandie Jones (Tim) of Snead, AL and Kenneth Cotney (Valerie) of Ashland, AL; her grandchildren, Kennedy Elizabeth, Liberty Frankie Potts, Canyon, Brandon, Andi Mattox, Ted Jolly, Dakota and Liam Cooper; her great grandchildren, Caine and Kenna; and her siblings, Donny Smith of Talladega, AL, Sandy Johns of Ashland, AL, Jane Knight of Anniston, AL, Pat Smith of Talladega, AL, Lena Harris (Scott) of Ashland, AL, Priscilla Taylor (Jeff) of Ashland, AL and Tabitha Richardson of Ashland, AL.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
