With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ben Harold Griffin of Ashland, Alabama, who passed away on September 27, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Alvin Griffin and Inez Ward Griffin; his daughter Sheron LeAnn Griffin; and his siblings, Juanita Stewart, Margaret Strickland, Elizabeth Latham, Bill, Charles and Jerry Griffin.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Griffin; his sons, Ben Griffin Jr. (Teresa) of Ashland, Don Griffin (Brindlea) of Phenix City and Al Griffin (Natalie) of Greenville; and his siblings, Ann McKay of Birmingham, Janice Jenkins of Auburn and Pete Griffin (Katherine) of Lineville. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations towards your favorite charity be made in Mr. Griffin's honor.
