He is survived by: his wife Floy Bess; his children, Seaby Bess (Betti) and Lisa Griffiths; his grandchildren, Seaby Michael Bess, Michelle Bess, Matthew "Bob" Bess and Megan Kieser (Andy); and his siblings, Mike Bess (Sheryl), Gerri Habbard (Art) and Jan Paul (Manuel). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
