He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed McClain and Mary Tuba McClain; and his daughter Diana Carrol Howell. He is survived by: his daughter Mary Tuba Smith; his wife Gladys McClain; his children, Ellmarie, Yolanda, Priscilla, Amanda, Alexis McClain, Robert B. and Edward McClain; and his brothers, Fred and Herman McClain. He is also survived by 40 grand children and great grandchildren.
