He was predeceased by: his parents, Sanford Barfield and Coralee Eldridge Barfield; and his son Randy Barfield. He is survived by: his wife Betty Barfield; his daughter Connie Barfield; his sister Corrine Hill; his stepchildren, David McCord, Vickie Lorenz (Scott), Debbie Nichols (Charles), Sara Baxter and Shirly Cassady; and his close friend Paul Tanton. He is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
