She was predeceased by : her parents, James Preston and Ruth Murphy Preston; her husband J. W. Mills; and her brother James Fredrick Preston. She is survived by : her sons, Preston Mills (Terri) of Ashford and Brad Mills (Melanie) of Cowarts; her grandchildren, Kimberly Newberry (Scott), Shawn Mills (Hilary), Amy Mills, Cory Mills (Grace) and Alex Mills; her great grandchildren, Cora, William Newberry, Harper Ann, Micah Mills, Domenic and Eli Valdez; and her sisters, Martha Hughes (Echo), Jean Scott of Parker, CO. and Sheryl Knight of Tampa, FL.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Bluff Springs Baptist Church to fund Vacation Bible School or Operation Christmas Child, 1990 Bluff Springs Rd., Ashford, AL. 36312.
