She was predeceased by: her parents, Colton Drinkwater and Mary Anne Anglin Drinkwater; her husband Maxwell Sims; her siblings, Agnes Drinkwater, Edna Drinkwater, Miriam Gamble, Clide Drinkwater, William Drinkwater, Otis Drinkwater, Cubert Drinkwater, Thurman Drinkwater and Tommy Drinkwater; and her son-in-law Foy Shelley.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Shelley and Jimmy Sims (Carol); her grandchildren, Daniel Shelley (Krista), Samuel (Camille), Reverend Nathan Sims (Catherine), Krystal Fowler (Steve), Heather Dills and Michelle Herring (Joe); and her sister Betty Anderson (M. O.). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
