He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Wymes (Moses) of Southfield, Alfretta Holt (Artis) of Dothan, Benjamin McLoyd of Union Springs, Bettye Blount (William) of Portsmouth, Virginia Brown (Lonnie) of Statesville, Dennis McLoyd (Lolita) of Lithonia and Terrence (Ramona) of Wicksburg, Alabama; and his sister Ruth Sampson of Rockledge, Florida. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
