It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Leslie Hyink of Ashford, Alabama, who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James Hyink and Dorothy Swann Hyink; and his brother Thomas Hyink. He is survived by : his wife Pat Hyink; his children, Sherri Mercer (Mike) and Gary Hyink (Debbie); his grandchildren, Ashley Reynolds (Joshua), Josh Mercer (Monica) and Melissa Mercer; his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Ethan, Emerie and Hannah; his brother Gerald Hyink; and his sister-in-law Zafe Hyink.
