It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Davis Sr. of Ashford, Alabama, born in Newton, Alabama, who passed away on October 20, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Ellis and Foy Dee Miller Davis; his wife Sharon S. Davis of Ashford; his children, James Earl Davis, Jr. (Stephanie) of Cowarts, Casey Davis of Malvern, Kathrine Schulman (Donald) of Dothan and Melissa Clayton (Chris) of Ashford; and his siblings, Travis Davis (Marie) of Bonifay, FL, Paul Davis (Kai) of Midland City, Alma Lois Scott of Summerville, SC and Betty Sue Cochran (Johnny) of Dothan. He was also cherished by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
