He was predeceased by: his daughters, Wanda Drinkwater, Donna McCraney and Deborah Ann Marrone; his granddaughter Katie Drinkwater; and his parents, Charles Edward Jones and Kate Leona Hallford.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Jones (Ronda), Joan Hopkins, Kimberly Jones and Janice Lewis (Glen). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home and Crematory (1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel (1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350).
