He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Henry and Willie May Buckhalt; and his sister Grace Tingle. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Nell Battle Buckhalt of Ashford; his children, Kenneth W. Buckhalt (Leslie) of Enterprise, Sheryl Buckhalt of Dothan and Kathy B. Forrester (Ricky) of Headland; his grandchildren, Nicole Taylor (Thad) of Headland, Blake Forrester of Headland, Kati Bullock (Randy) of Trussville, Payton Waters (Jake) of Hartford, Hayden Buckhalt of Georgia and Abbie Buckhalt of Enterprise; his great grandchildren, Tanner of Headland, Evan of Headland, Kiley Taylor of Headland, Riley Bullock of Trussville, Maisyn Kate of Hartford and Bowden Waters of Hartford; his brother James Buckhalt (Jan) of Abbeville; and his sister-in-law Glenda Jordan of Dothan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
