With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Richmond Petteys of Ashford, Alabama, who passed away on August 27, 2020 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Richmond and Helen Merritt Richmond; her husband Nelson Petteys; her brother Stephen Richmond; and her son-in-law Bobby Joe Elliott.
She is survived by: her daughter Dianne Elliott; and her grandchildren, Kevin Gill (Jennifer), Audrey Forrest (Josh) of Alabaster, AL, John Petteys, Jr. and Robert Petteys of Raleigh, NC.
