With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Crosby of Ashford, Alabama, born in Donalsonville, Georgia, who passed away on April 28, 2021 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Leroy and Sarah Evelyn Shoemaker Crosby; his father-in-law Reverend Pete Blackshear; and his brother-in-law Don Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Debra Blackshear Crosby of Ashford; his daughter Tennille Crosby of Ashford; his siblings, Jackie Crosby (Betty) of Gainesville, FL, Bill Crosby (Sheila) of Donalsonville, GA, Buddy Crosby (Jennifer) of Crosby, AL, David Crosby (Debbie) of Plant City, FL, Faye Roberts (Johnny) of Lake Seminole, GA and Brenda Wilson of Malone, FL; his grandchild Finley Crosby of Ashford; his great-nephews, Zander Blackshear of Cowarts and Davy Dasinger of Cowarts; his mother-in-law Mary Blackshear of Cowarts; and his siblings-in-law, Amy Blackshear of Cowarts and Cliff Blackshear (Barbara) of Macclenny, FL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
