Emma Jean McLeod Obituary
Emma Jean McLeod, a resident of Ashford, was called Home by her Heavenly Father on Friday, November 13, 2020 at her residence. She was 73 years old. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Ashford with Pastor Noah Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Sunset Funeral Home on Friday evening from 4-6 pm. Mrs. McLeod was born to the late David Blackshear and Minnie Mae Wilsher on October 26, 1947. She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Ashford, Alabama, there she served until death. Mrs. McLeod was united in Holy Matrimony to Willie James McLeod.
To this union is one daughter. Mrs. McLeod was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her three brothers, Robert Graham, Jr., Wayne Wilsher, and James Wilsher, her two sisters, Mae Cahterine Wilsher and Sallie Blackshear-Hinson.
