It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Wayne Peters of Ashford, Alabama, who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Peters and James Gordy; his parents-in-law, NJ and Ruth Rowley; and his brothers-in-law, Joseph Rowley and Phillip Shelton.
He is survived by: his wife Lila J. Peters of Ashford; his children, Christine Peters of Ashford and Nathan Peters of Dothan; his brothers, Ronald Peters (Terri) of Webb and Mitchell Gordy of Cowarts; his stepbrother Jim Gordy (Charlotte) of Phenix City; his grandson Phillip Peters; and his sisters-in-law, Delores Shelton of Michigan and Sandra Walsh of Michigan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
