It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Chuck Knight of Ashford, Alabama, born in Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on May 11, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eck Knight and Merle Knight; his wife Arlene Thompson; his brother Billy Knight; his grandson Jared Tyler Draughon; and his son-in-law Pee-Wee Gilbert Hughes.

He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Draughon (Timmy) of Rehobeth and Lori Hughes of Ashford; his granddaughters, Bonnie Gomez (Obed) and Jordan Draughon (Robert Farmer); and his close friends, Joyce and Tim Skipper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the VFW Club or Wounded Warriors.
