He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Littleton Blalock and Iona Jewel Blankenship Blalock; and his siblings, Mary Lee, Judy Beasley and Clarence Robert Blalock.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Fulton Blalock; his children, Becky Pierce (Royce), Jimmy D. Dansby (Marsha) and James "A. Z." Williams of Arizona; his stepchildren, Angie Jimerson (Tony), Michael Shelley and Jeffrey Williams; his sister Martha Hendricks; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Lee and Kenneth Fulton.
