He was predeceased by : his parents, Carlis Johnson Farris Sr. and Georgia Elizabeth Farris; and his sisters, Ruby Hawkins Mosely and Francis Thomas. He is survived by : his wife Janice Clayton Farris; his daughters, Carla Arnold (Steve) of Ashford and Lyteasa Easterwood (Eric) of Ashford; his sister Carolyn Wright (Jim) of Avon; his grandchildren, Zach Arnold (Emily), Taylor Tiller (Greg), B. J. Ryals (Rachel), Matthew Ryals and Kaitey Easterwood; and his great grandchildren, Halo, Aeriyn, Gregory, Abigail, Olivia, Elise, Emma and Cash.
