He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlis Johnson Farris Sr. and Georgia Elizabeth Farris; and his sisters, Ruby Hawkins Mosely and Francis Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Janice Clayton Farris; his daughters, Carla Arnold (Steve) of Ashford and Lyteasa Easterwood (Eric) of Ashford; his sister Carolyn Wright (Jim) of Avon; his grandchildren, Zach Arnold (Emily), Taylor Tiller (Greg), B. J. Ryals (Rachel), Matthew Ryals and Kaitey Easterwood; and his great grandchildren, Halo, Aeriyn, Gregory, Abigail, Olivia, Elise, Emma and Cash.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to Grandview Baptist Church, 2400 Forrester Rd., Dothan, Al. 36301.
