He was predeceased by: his father George Elliott Sr.; and his brothers, George Elliott Jr, Ronnie Elliott and Jackie Elliott. He is survived by: his spouse Dianne Elliott; his children, Joey Elliott, Kevin Elliott, Kevin Gill (Jennifer), Denise Knight and Audrey Forrest (Joshua); and his siblings, Larry Elliott (Patricia) and Shirley Robinson (Ray). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
