He was predeceased by: his parents, Bonford Buford Harper (B. B.) and Katherine Francis Harper (Peterson); his wife Nina Jo Peacock Harper; his grandson Michael LaDon Harper; and his brother Raymond Harper.
He is survived by: his son Dwayne Harper of Ashford, Alabama; his grandchildren, Kristie Harper of Webb, Alycia Hammond (Casey) of Jefferson, Will Harper (Kelsey) of Slocomb and Faith Carroll (Levi) of Crestview; his great grandchildren, Brooke, Peyton Hammond of Jefferson, Aiden, Eli, Liam Carroll of Crestview and Easton Harper of Slocomb; and his siblings, Betty Jean Kennedy, Nathan Harper, Nadine Bedsole and Hershel Harper.
