She was predeceased by: her parents, George Blackstone and Lois Beasley Blackstone; and her son Denwell Powell III. She is survived by: her husband Barry Hinson; her children, Dewayne Powell, Daniel Baldwin, Courtney Sapp, Charlotte Rice (Garrett) and Catherine Baldwin; and her brothers, James, Michael and Donnie Blackstone. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
