He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Folkes; his son Chris Folkes (Angie) of Headland; his stepdaughters, Jennifer Fanning (John) of Dothan and Robyn Simmons (Jeff) of Decatur; his grandchildren, Alex Folkes, Madison Folkes, Carter Fanning, Owen Trippany (Angela) and Beth Trippany; his sisters, Nell Elmore of Cowarts, Fay Folkes of Cowarts and Sue Kirkland of Dothan; his nephew David Elmore (Sheryl); and his niece Joan Kirkland.
