It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert David Hay of Arley, Alabama, born in Wayne, West Virginia, who passed away on January 1, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Hay and Zella Hay; his siblings, Homer, Morgan, Herbert, Jimmy, Herman, Russell Hay, Nora Bell Little, Maggie Murphy and Mildred Ray; and his parents-in-law, Vera Mae and Tannie Hill.

He is survived by: his wife Shelva J. Hay; his son Robert David Hay, Jr. (Sherry); his grandsons, Robert James Hay (Naima) and Drake Remington Hay (Amanda); and his great grandchild Celise. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
