He was predeceased by: his wives, Ruth Chappell Wadsworth and Nancy Dorsett Wadsworth; his son William "Billy" Wadsworth; his parent Dessa Wadsworth; and his siblings, Sherman, Dorthen Wadsworth, Inez Wadsworth, Maitland Newsome, Dothene Aaron, Louise McCormic and Carolyn Harbison.
He is survived by: his children, Patsy Williams (Bobby) and Timothy Ray Wadsworth; his grandchildren, Emily Akins (Lee), Alisha Barnett (Doug) and Jarrod Wadsworth (Kerri); and his great grandchildren, Karlee, Brantlee, Owen, Audrey and Eli.
