She was predeceased by: her husband J. T. Cooper; her parents, Rufus Pierce and Pauline Williams; and her daughter-in-law Dee Dee Cooper. She is survived by: her children, Kelly Banks (Kenneth) and Tim Cooper (Diedre); her grandchildren, Tiffany Banks, Jamie Hawkins (Caleb), Jessica Gilbert (Jason), Chaz Cooper and Cade Cooper (Breanna); her great grandchildren, Jaxon Banks (Abigail), Hannah Williams (Logan), Kane Banks, Kayne Hawkins and Camryn Hawkins; and her great great grandchildren, Jax Cooper and Everleigh Banks.
