She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Pitts and Helen Demonia Pitts; her son Bruce Carlton Pigg; and her sister Peggy Miller. She is survived by: her brothers, Steton Hayes and Donnie Jones; her husband Roger "Rooster" Smothers; her daughter Sherry Brown (John); her grandchildren, Amber Robinson (Kevin), Shannon Bryant (Lindsey) and Rachel Coughanour (Allen); her great grandchildren, Connor Robinson, Braxton Bryant, Lilly Kate Bryant, Scarlet Coughanour and Alice Coughanour; and her cousin Wanda Jones (Donnie).
