He was predeceased by: his father Roy Lee Odom; and his grandparents, Milford, Flora Wadsworth, Buel and Evelyn Odom.

He is survived by: his mother Annie Odom Evans; his uncle Willard Wadsworth (Shelby); his aunts, Nola Key, Loree Peppers and Gwenda Tidwell (Thomas); and his close friend Shirley Martin.
