He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Nathaniel Chesser and Una Dell Chesser Fowler; his wife Ola Jean Starling Chesser; his grandchildren, Amanda Hardy and Wyatt Hardy; and his sister Myrtle Chesser Tillery (Hubert).
He is survived by: his grandson Bill Emrick (John Cawley); his daughters, Jeanne Emrick of Ariton and Janice Baxter of Ariton; his great grandchild Neviah Leatherwood; his grandson-in-law Eric Green; and his brother Elza Fowler (Judy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
