He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Georgianne Oppert Welch; his daughter Anna Kate Phillips (Ashley); his stepdaughter Christina Boyd (James); and his stepgrandchildren, Leslie Glass (Heath) and Chelsea Nelson (Travis). He was also cherished by his six siblings and many beloved extended family.
