We are sad to announce that on June 12, 2020, Max Hughes of Ariton, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Odie Maxwell Hughes and Mattie Frances Miller Hughes; his daughter Pamela Regina Hughes Spivey; and his siblings, Edna Ruth Maulden and Don Hughes.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Harrison Hughes; his daughters, Melony (David) and Angela (Jeff); his grandsons, Joshua (Miranda), Scoey (Samantha), Trenton (Kimberly) and Joys; his great grandchildren, Greyson, Silas, Leo and JJ; his siblings, Kathryn Goodson (Gerald) and Ross Hughes (Joyce); and his close friends, Terrell and Diane Barefoot. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to Bethel Assembly of God Benevolence Fund, P. O. Box 33, Ariton, Alabama 36311. .
