She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wyatt Trotter and Nell Andrews Trotter; her husband Ewell Payton Hartzog; and her siblings, Sara Wines, Lynn Trotter and Eldon Trotter.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael Hartzog (Dana), Troy and Steve Hartzog (Truclan "T. J."); her sister Patsy Clearman; her grandchildren, Bailey Hartzog and Zackery Hartzog; her great grandchildren, Paisley Wise and Cori Teal; and her brother-in-law Robert Wines.
