It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jason Copeland of Ariton, Alabama, who passed away on August 26, 2021, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Joe F. Copeland; his mother-in-law Reba Baxley Campbell; and his grandparents, James Celmis Copeland, Charlie and Lucy Knight.

He is survived by: his wife Christie Campbell Copeland; his daughter Erika Copeland Lopez (Nick) of Ariton; his grandchildren, Addison Lopez, Elan Lopez and Destini Erwin; his sister Melba Jo Davis (Billy) of Ariton; his mother June Knight Copeland of Ariton; and his father-in-law James F. "Bunk" Campbell.
