He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Leona Rachel Goodson; his siblings, Glennie Ruth Sitz, Kenneth "Pete" Goodson (Gladys), Shorty Goodson and Gerald L. Goodson; his wife Glenda Littlefield Goodson; his children, Rex Andrews (Rhonda) of Ariton, Newton of Ariton, Ron Goodson (Tonya) of Ariton and Donna Bell (Robin) of Ariton; his sister Shirley Boose; his sister-in-law Kathryn Hughes Goodson; his grandchildren, Megan Faulk (Kaegan), Rex Allen Andrews, Avery Andrews, Erica Goodson, Kayleigh Winn (Blaise), Danielle McKeown (Skylar), Jonathan Stinson, Chase Goodson, Samantha Prestwood (Kelsey), Josh Bell (Destiny) and Antony Coy; and his great grandchildren, Flynt Faulk, Emersyn McKeown, Dawson McKeown, Beckham Winn, Brooks McKeown, Evelyn Rae Davis, Nolan Davis, Tate Davis, Redick Prestwood, Jo Kate Prestwood, J. B. Bell and Maggie Sue Bell. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (1124 Co Rd 11, Ozark, AL 36360). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
