He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Cephus Dawkins and Nellie Glen Price Dawkins; his wife June Marie Szmanski Dawkins; his granddaughter Tara Marie Senn; and his brothers, Joe Dawkins, Bobby Dawkins and Dan Dawkins.
He is survived by: his daughter Tammie; his son-in-law Jody Senn of Ariton; and his sons, Tim (Pam Dawkins), Tony (Teresa Dawkins) and Tommy (Debbie Dawkins). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
