She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clyde Lewter and Mildred Virginia Hobbs; her husband James Kenneth Drake; her daughter Tina Stewart; her brother Jimmy Lewter; and her granddaughter Paige Drake.
She is survived by: her sons, Kennan Drake (Cindy) of Ardmore and Jeff Drake (Lisa) of Ardmore; her sisters, Brenda McGahay (Cliff) of Huntsville and Cathy Jones (Rick) of Huntsville; and her grandchildren, Ashley, Jeffery, Hailey and Jordan. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home (27186 Main St, Ardmore, AL 35739). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
