He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Onkst of Ardmore, AL; and his children, Michael Onkst of Athens, AL, Richard Onkst of Huntsville, AL, Hershel Haley of Lake City, FL, Jeff Haley of Athens, AL and Elizabeth Bryant. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
