She is survived by: her husband Joe Daniel Mitchell; her children, Wanda Simmons (Tim) of Osteen, FL, Diane Watson of Athens, AL, Vicky Thompson (Darrell) of Kelso, TN, Tonya Lynch (Sean) of Coaling, AL, Alfred Sloan, Jr. (Sandra) of Toney, AL, Daniel Mitchell of Ardmore, AL and Andrew Mitchell of Ardmore, AL; her brother Johnny Flint (Martha Ann) of Lewisburg, TN; and her grandchildren, Dane Simmons (Amanda), Christopher Carr, Jonathan Watson, John Gordon (Lisa), Ricky Gordon, Matthew Gordon, Cheyene Kleshinski (Kevin), Tarry Taylor, Jacob Sloan, Tina Kyle, Logan Thompson and Kala Brashier (Travis). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
