She was predeceased by: her parents, Otha Milburn Butler and Rosa Faye Ledbetter Butler; her husband Benny Sanders; her siblings, Gladise Chandler, Sarah Tillery, Estman Butler and O. M. Bulter, Jr.; and her son-in-law Sonny Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Sanders (Connie), Anthony Sanders, Linda Sparks (Jerry), Sharon Johnson and Marie Hurst (Bob); and her brother Ted "Pete" Butler. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
