He is survived by: his mother Brenda Burden (Smith); his daughter Avery Rodgers; his close friend Kayla Watkin; and his siblings, Catherine Poague (Christopher), Charles Burden, Jackie B. Burden and Daniel Burden (Elizabeth). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
