He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Wiley" Mills and Peggy Anderson Mills; his brother Wiley Keith Mills; and his grandparents, John B., Dorothy L. Mills, Luther and Sarah Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Melanie Morrow Mills; and his children, McKenzie Mills and Tristen Mills. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
