Mary Helen Gaddis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2025, at the age of 95, Mary Helen Gaddis (Arab, Alabama), born in Jefferson, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Cleadus Gaddis; her parents, Idus Love and Cora Love; her siblings, Geraldine Coldwater and Charles Love; her daughter Sherry Wootan; and her grandchildren, Shannon Wootan and Kaitlynn Gaddis.
She is survived by: her children, Phil Gaddis (Val), Greg Gaddis (Tricia), Clay Gaddis, Beverly McPeters (Philip) and Dawn Gaddis; and her son-in-law Stanley Wootan. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel (1340 N Main St, Arab, AL 35016). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
