It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonnie Olen Childers (Arab, Alabama), who passed away on April 9, 2018, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Childers and Earlene Wilbanks Childers; and his wife Mary Etta Shadwick. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Jarrett Childers; his children, Danny, Mary Childers, June Childers, Donnie, Lisa Childers, Karen, Robert Brown, Sheila, Anthony Hyatt, Cathy, Gerald Harkins, Marty, Christine Jarrett, Melanie, Chris Maggio, Phillip and Janice Jarrett; and also, Lewis, Mary Childers, Larry, Needia McDonald, Dorothy Childers, Betty, Charlie Eastham, Linda and Wayne Sapp. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
