She is survived by: her husband Mitchell Newton "Mickey" Brown; her grandson Justin Brown; her brother James Hornsby (Mellicha); her son Steve Larry Brown; and her siblings, Irene Hornsby, Della Mae Fletcher, Villa Dean King, Nellie Ruth Walker, Diann Powell, Noel Hornsby and Wilber Gene Hornsby. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many special friends.
