It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joy Dyson Privett of Arab, Alabama, born in Austell, Georgia, who passed away on February 28, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jewell Shelnutt Dyson and George Franklin Dyson Sr. Those; her husband Bill Privett; her children, Shelley Privett Knox (Benjamin), Brian Privett (Melinda) and Joy; her grandchildren, Andrew, Abigail, Jackson Knox, Elizabeth, Sydney, Kenzie Privett, Jatona Corn and Muniru Bawa; and her siblings, Judy Riddell (Bob), Jolli Weaver (Rodney), George Dyson Jr. (Tasha) of Georgia and David Dyson. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
She assisted with the Christmas Coalition Christmas and Beyond Program and even found a way to make it happen in spite of COVID restrictions.
