He was predeceased by: his parents, J. M. McAnally and Ona Smith McAnally; his wife Diane Smith McAnally; his daughter Melissa McAnally Waldron; and his sister Mary Cox.

He is survived by: his cousins, Lamar, Dianne McAnally, Barry, Reba McAnally, Patsy McAnally Holland, Shirley McAnally and Jonnie McAnally Leiner.
