He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Ray Henley; his parents, Horace Henley and Alma Henley; his siblings, Don, Horace, Bill Henley, Anna White Roper, Helena Smith and Eloise Goodman; and his granddaughters, Bethany Grace Hudson and Kristie Franks Chandler.
He is survived by: his children, John Jr. (Gena) of Auburn Al, Aubrey (Joan) of Rineyille, KY, Tim (Felicia) of Guntersville, Judy Buchanan of Albertville, Joan Hughes (Lester) of Guntersville, Sarah Ostermiller (Bill) of Guntersville and Kim Hudson (Dave) of Arab; and his sister Vivian Middleton. He is also survived by 22 Grandchildren, 28 Great-Grandchildren, and 11 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
