He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alvis Walter Howard Sr. and Sarah Norine Parson Howard; his wife Nella Jo Tidmore Howard; his sons, Timothy "Tim" Howard, Samuel "Sam" Howard (Nyla), Edwin "Ed" Howard and Jonathan "Jon" Howard; and his siblings, Alvis Walter Howard Jr., Bobby Parson Howard, Larry Wayne Howard, Kathryn Howard Stone, Margaret Howard Rutledge and Linda Howard Schrmisher. He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
