He was predeceased by: his mother Reba Mae Edmondson Horton; and his wife Billie Hayes. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Chris Black (Melissa) and Beth Whitaker (Devin); his brother-in-law David Neal Maze; his grandchildren, Jessica Oden (Heath), Jennifer Black, Dustin Whitaker (Caitlyn) and Dalton Whitaker; his great grandchild Alexa "Lexi" Lee Oden; and his grandson Kyle Bennefield. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and many friends.
